outliers welcomed thousands of visitors over the course of @AbuDhabiArt. For many, it marked a first encounter with digital art. Scale, motion, and rhythm shaped how the works were experienced. Light, sound, and movement drew people in and held their attention. Visitors spent time with each work, engaging through multiple senses and carrying the experience with them beyond the walls of the exhibits. Through its curation, outliers demonstrated how blockchain technology can operate as an artistic medium. The exhibition brought together works that respond to on-chain activity, evolve with time, follow lunar cycles, and invite participation, care, and community.
