Director Joshua Seftel says school shootings have become so polarized that he wanted to reframe the issue. His Oscar-nominated documentary, “All the Empty Room,” shows the bedrooms left behind by children killed in shootings. “When you look at it from the standpoint of empty bedrooms and children, we can all agree that we don’t want more school shootings,” he says.
