I used the Raph loop everyone loves to rebuild Urbit in Rust without the weird stuff.
Specifically I used Ralph to develop the Spec- it took two days and over 150 iterations of Claude creating specs, and Codex Reviewing specs, fixing, repeat, before it was ready to build.

Then once the spec was finished (It had to pass review three times with no blocking issues found), i used another Ralph loop and Codex to build it.
100% AI generated. Worked out of the box.
It's really worth checking out the spec files and code reviews. It's massive work.
It's a personal server with:
- Encrypted inbox/messaging (double ratchet, like Signal)
- Identity from keys you generate (no accounts, no platform)
- WASM app sandbox so others can build on it
- A web UI styled like Mac System 7 because I'm old and I like it
This is a great example of:
"I have no idea how it works, I wasn't there when they built it, I'm just an idea guy so..."
Codex says:
"it’s a coherent system for user‑owned identity, messaging, and apps—an attempt to turn “personal cloud” into a self‑run node with a real OS‑like shell, built to minimize trust in centralized platforms."
