Common pain points for Obsidian users: too many notes, too messy, hard to find, and "difficult to use."
The plugin I’ve been using recently, "Claudian," integrates Claude Code into the sidebar of Obsidian.
You can chat with the AI while having it translate your notes. You can also call Skills, etc.
I think some practical uses are:
1. You can ask, "What have I previously noted about XXX?" and have it directly search your knowledge base, then answer based on your own notes.
This is quite good; if you have enough notes, it can serve as a digital twin.
2. It can also help you organize, rewrite, and create new notes directly. The results of the conversation don’t need to be copied and pasted; they go straight into your Obsidian notes.
3. You can use the configuration of ClaudeCode, and the Skills and other configurations you’ve previously gathered can be used directly in Obsidian.
Now, the conversation itself is operating on notes, finding things, organizing things, writing things, and asking questions based on notes, all completed in one place.
Configuration is also very easy; just install Claude Code, and the model can use third-party intermediaries or domestic models.
