Trump emphasized that he signed the landmark GENIUS Act last year, and Congress is currently actively formulating legislation on the structure of the cryptocurrency market, covering various crypto assets, including Bitcoin.

"I hope to sign this bill soon and open up new avenues for the American people," Trump said.
