Out of caution they turned around, smooth landing at Joint Base Andrews and boarded a new aircraft. Press cabin lights flickered briefly (no explanation), but Press Secretary Leavitt cracked everyone up: The Qatari jet “sounds much better right now.” Arrival in Zurich delayed but the trip’s on.
