To me, working with AI is fundamentally different in DeFi or blockchain, and man, every time I do things with AI, I feel refreshed.
In DeFi, we want to change "how" we do things. We aim to build a better financial system, even though it looks the same at best. We try to solve problems that can be addressed by "trusting humans," but in a different way.
That's why it's hard to get users; we understand why we do this, but we need to convince the whole world it's better. We kind of need the world to suffer to thrive.
But the AI industry is different. People don't care about why; they care about "what." No one understands how AI models work, but anyone can build AI powered-products with AI, solving their own workflow issues and creating any software they need in their lives, very effectively.
This is pure problem solving. In the past year, I've probably built 20 bots that help me do a variety of things. I feel like a boss with 20 employees, each costing $0.0002 an hour. And I enjoy it.
