I liked One Battle Another fine but like every PTA movie not called There Will Be Blood or Boogie Nights, I sort of thought the good/great parts were mainly overwhelmed by lots of “eh” parts.

It’s hilarious to me that One Battle After Another became the Oscar front runner despite obvious defects because legacy media critics declared it The Cinematic Revolution We Need Right Now but is now getting sour takes because it isn’t totally supportive of the Revolution.
I don’t really know what I think the best picture should be. I did like EDDINGTON. Maybe there are some ones I’m forgetting.
I just have too basic tastes to appreciate most PTA movies. I think THERE WILL BE BLOOD is like a perfect movie and BOOGIE NIGHTS is also wonderful, but all the other ones just have segments I like surrounded by stuff I hate lol
