AI is helping me do things that I have no interest in doing myself — but they are still necessary. (Yes, I like to use em-dashes. Deal with that.) For example, adding authentication to a website, integrating with Stripe, setting up a simple DAO class to access my database, etc. These things are necessary, but I've done them many times before, and they don't need my time. AI does them for me. It does a pretty good job most of the time because it has seen them done a billion times before. That's a good thing. This is time I save and can use to do other things.
