As I write in today’s Daily Mail, Big Green’s strategy is to repeat an obvious lie often enough that people eventually accept it as true. If wind power was so cheap why has the latest round of offshore UK licences involved a high guaranteed minimum price index-linked for 20 years to inflation — and almost £2bn a year in subsidies for the proposed wind farms?
