In retrospect Anthropic will regret banning clawdis, opencode etc. from using Claude subscription: allowing Codex to eat market share as the ai programming platform, which is way better than GPT Apps. Instead Anthropic should have restricted usage to 1/5 of the current limits and the other 4/5 are Claude products only. Allow ecosystem to bootload Login with Claude Plus/Max And convert every user who hits their limits BACK into 1st party products.
