I don't know how this probability compares to buying a lottery ticket, but I think if you enjoy buying lottery tickets or other things, gambling on extremely low probabilities, it might be better to take that money and invest in a small mining rig to try and mine a block, haha. After all, they are all extremely low probability events; winning the lottery just means making money, but mining something can be bragged about for a lifetime.
