I wonder if Anthropic banning third-party sign-ons is about money or motion. It's interesting that it comes at the ATH for Claude Code clout. Maybe they figure it's time to close the doors to the walled garden, maybe they're running out of money. I'd guess the former.

It also came on the back of a massive changelog week for Claude Code.
