VanEck is really going all out today, with a conservative price prediction of $2.9 million per BTC by 2050 in their recently released outlook report, and an optimistic estimate of $53.4 million 🤣. But seriously, many people often see these seemingly impressive big institutions making these outrageous price predictions, which can be quite counterintuitive. Logically, these institutions are staffed by some of the smartest people in the world, so how can they just throw out numbers like that? The core issue is that they earn management fees and are only responsible for scale, not for returns. Their prediction reports are not meant to be accurate; they are designed for marketing to gain attention. The more exaggerated, the more eye-catching, and the better they can increase their visibility. Later, when someone wants to buy BTC, they will think of them. Just like this tweet of mine, damn it, I unknowingly gave them free advertising.
