🇮🇷 IRAN'S REGIME SHUTS DOWN TELEGRAM CHANNELS TO SILENCE PROTESTS The Islamic Republic just pulled the plug on parts of the internet to block people from sharing protest updates, and now major Telegram channels covering the unrest are suddenly offline. This is how the regime hides what it’s doing: if people can’t talk or post, the world can’t see what’s happening. Telegram has been one of the only ways for protesters to get info out, especially with foreign media banned from most areas. Now those messages are gone, and it’s getting harder to know what’s actually happening inside the country. Total blackout mode is usually a sign they’re planning to crack down hard, but the bad news for the regime is: the World already knows. Source: @spectatorindex
