On a more serious note, keep in mind that Venezuela was once a prosperous and relatively free country, even if a bit corrupt. They voted for socialism under Hugo Chavez—and they got it good and hard. Remember the old saying: You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out. Or someone else has to do it for you.
