On Observation on Top Moving Altcoins for the day Disclaimer: - this is just an observation, I don't have any hard data on this. - you're more than welcome to go and collect the data on this to see how valid it actually is When alts are in an environment where there is a new "top mover" coin basically every day, whatever the previous "hot coin of the day" was will often go into predatory sideways chop or bleed back down to where it came from. In these environments, trading more breakouts feels like a nightmare while playing mean reversion on the extreme points of the range feels a lot more manageable - especially if the coin has been nonstop bleeding since the daily open. This is why I like to keep an eye on whatever the previous Top Movers were of the day. You can do this using TradingView watchlist or using any crypto screener like Velodata or Orionterminal.
