any time you collect data on any trade idea you deepen your understanding about whatever topic you decided to research. sometimes this can lead to actual alpha and in the times it doesn't lead to any alpha, it can lead to coming up with better ideas in the future. if you come up with more ideas, collect more data on those ideas and test more ideas, you will inevitably discover more edge. 🌶️
