The M1 MAC, although a bit old and somewhat lagging even when running Excel, is still quite capable. Every time I think about it, I say I'll wait until the new one comes out. This time, I also plan to wait until the M5 is released before I take another look. Actually, I don't use my laptop very frequently. When I'm at home, I still prefer my desktop.
