Biggest satisfaction in 2025: ZK STARKs When I co-founded StarkWare 8 years ago, we were the *only* ones praising the advantages of ZK-STARKs (I'm a co-inventor of this technology). Everybody else believed that ZK SNARKs, based on elliptic curves, are better. I knew they were wrong, with 100% conviction, because I was sure of the math: - STARKs work over any "finite field" - STARKs are post-quantum secure - STARKs are super-fast - STARKs don't require any trusted setup But it took a pretty long while for others to see this as well. Over 2025 the speed and efficiency of STARKs became self-evident. Many doubted STARKs in the early days, some even trashed them. They may not admit they were wrong, but that’s okay. Today, the reality on the ground is that more and more teams are building with STARKs and realizing their edge. 2025 was a year in which more and more people in the ecosystem realized the undeniable value of ZK-STARKs.
