ngl one of the most fun way to learn is through conversations, either as a keen bystander or active participant in the convo.
because a convo piquing your interest enough to make you a participant or spectator means you’d have good chance at retaining and retrieving gained info.
idk why my brain points every fucking thing to the thesis of personalized education man lmfaooooo.
like i just see it everywhere, even here. if i had to bet my entire life on one thing for the next 5 decades walahi it’s this thesis.
w the pace at which technology is accelerating, i simply don’t see any reason why anyone would wanna go to school to sit and just listen to stuff delivered in a manner that probably doesn’t interest them and a setup that is super rigid.
when they could have the option of a more fluid setup that flows based on their individual needs and moods with the aim of ensuring knowledge is passed in the most fun and retentive way possible per individual.
like isn’t this shit just so fucking obvious?
“school is a scam” is prevalent solely because the model (rigid) has proven to be uninteresting and in a world where we have humans with attention spans diminishing at unprecedented rates, the flaws of this current model becomes more and more obvious.
fewer and fewer and fewer people would be upskilled in schools these days.
idk the stats but I’m pretty sure one can make an argument that in the last two years, AI has done more for REAL education than traditional setups like school.
tho I’ve no idea when exactly this inflection point is gonna happen, but man I’ve never been more confident of something being certain iml.
if i was ever to decide to pursue something and build a startup of my own it’s 100% gonna be along this line.
