Today, 1 oz of gold costs just over 0.05 BTC, a decline of more than 72% in bitcoin terms since the publication of The Bitcoin Standard, when gold was priced closer to 0.18 BTC.
I didn't read The Bitcoin Standard until later in 2020, but I quickly sold all my gold for bitcoin soon after reading it, at around 0.1 BTC per ounce, and never looked back.
