I am again noting that adult men and adult women, in adult relationships, do almost exactly the same amount of work - paid and unpaid combined - when this is broken down hour-by-hour on GSS style questionnaires. Men work longer hours, make 55-60% of the money in most couples, but do in fact do fewer chores at home. Full-time female home-makers actually put in a bit less total time than their bread-winner husbands, or than men and businesswomen who BOTH work and then have to split chores. An Evil Cynic Might Joke that this is how they have time to lecture the rest of us about their struggle, the which we cannot even comprehend :). They still go hard, though, and handle the huge majority of child-care: their kids do a bit better against most metrics. It also isn't really fair to count lack of a commute against them, when you think about it. The only real outliers are stay-at-home DADS, who often seem to be bums. Takes?
