A feasibility study, performed by Nucleon Energy for the North Dakota state government, has identified seven "areas" that could host SMRs. Article link in reply. They identified four areas in the eastern part of the state and three areas in the western part. The eastern areas could accommodate 600 MW of overall nuclear capacity, while the western areas could accommodate 600 MW.
