The more I think about it, the endgame of “agentic finance” seems less about autonomous strategy agents and more about declarative execution - that is, LLMs struggle with discrete decisions, regime shifts, and capital allocation, but are good at translating human intent into safe, executable onchain actions.
Where this gets more interesting is potentially prediction markets. Since financial outcomes collapse into simple yes/no questions, “strategy” starts to look less like trading and more like question design.
Agents feel much more naturally suited to composing and optimizing markets and context, for example combining an airdrop yes/no with a “price above something dollars by tomorrow” condition, rather than deciding how much capital to deploy or when to exit (see @tulipking 's legend visualization as attached)
In other words, to a normie like myself, finding the complex context is simply just so hard - but LLMs are probably very good at mixing (potentially the entire) markets and make optimizations/suggestions to me on @Polymarket & @Kalshi.
In other words, the initial idea is that If capital allocation and actual/discrete betting remain a hard boundary for agents, compositional market design in prediction markets might be a more realistic direction for agentic finance than traditional trading strategies - wdyt?
(also would love to know how this would apply when the agentic DeFi connects to the tradfi rails & x402 even)
