Interested in reactions to this thread from those who know Korea well/ trade the won Especially keen to better understand the apparent unwind of the NPS hedges this fall even when the won was weak (if that is what happened)

Korean won incredibly weak right now -- at risk of overshooting fundamentals. US return exceptionalism has generated outflows, but Korea underlying financial position remains solid 1/
There is a small technical issue with my work too -- I assume BoK hedges are with private actors. If the BoK is hedging the NPS I need to do a bit of netting to get true official/ government flows ...
