It is finally becoming an industry-consensus that "one asset" models are superior (over dual-equity/tokens). Much better long-term incentive alignment. There are SOME cases, like @milesjennings' concept of arcade tokens, that are complementary to this! They're more like skymiles or starbucks points. They're not designed to be "equity-like" or measure the success of a protocol. These token structures probably don't have caps and they may often have programmatic tools for redemption/issuance. These tokens will probably used for rewards, payment methods (like skymiles), and may be transferrable across "ecosystems". I like what Blackbird is doing here and I'd love to see more teams explore this space. If anyone knows of great teams doing work here, would love your recommendations of what to read or research.
