That’s crazy when you think about it, given the growth of the population in this city over the last 30 years. And to make it worse, there are more officers leaving LAPD than are coming in through the academy. On top of it, the LA City Council just canceled a January Academy class for budget reasons. — This isn’t going to end well for the city of Los Angeles. People are not even reporting crimes now, property crimes, because it takes so long for an officer to get to their home or to their business. So we’re being under reported —This is all about mismanagement of our budget, mismanagement of the city”
