If anything, Amish life exposes socialism’s flaw. A small, culturally unified, voluntary group can sustain mutual aid because they all share chosen values. Socialism tries to impose that same model on millions of unwilling people through force, entitlement, and confiscation. It collapses because you can’t scale self-sacrifice by decree. The Amish show that community works only when it’s voluntary, which means their system isn’t socialism at all, because the minute you add force, it stops working.
