Most of Silicon Valley hates humanity. No one talks about it which is how you know it’s true. Anyone in it can feel it though. Let me explain: Commitment to transparency and truth is core to the human experience. If we don't have that, everything is fake. The Silicon Valley game involves creating fake narratives that deceive people to acquire more attention and money. The VCs and founders who play the game think they are smarter than everyone else and shamelessly lie because they can. They may even think it's good for the world and if they don’t do it things will be worse. There are of course many great people building world changing products in SV too but this is widely discussed here. The extent to which SV hates people and seeks to manipulate and control bc they think they know better is not talked about enough. The good news is there is a solution. The crypto industry gives us more transparency and truth and empowers ALL people not just elites. But we must be more aware of the SV types that say the right shibboleths but actually don't believe this at all.
