I'm hesitant to call this a bad thing, transparently networked collections can ONLY happen if you have a decentralized trustless execution layer. e.g. you could not make @jackbutcher's Self Checkout without either: A. Having this decentralized layer B. Just flat out scamming
@jackbutcher That being said the age of @foundation and the visual artist 1/1 reserve auction being a tenable way to release art seems all but officially dead. You have to either evolve, expand, or adapt. Foundation was the last pillar of a properly decentralized open platform, imo.
