Today I announced my legislative priority that will keep Florida fighting back against the dangers of illegal immigration. We must keep our foot on the gas to ensure that Floridians are kept safe. My proposal: ☑️Bans illegal aliens from benefitting from Down Payment Assistance programs. ☑️Prohibits illegal aliens from receiving any license issued by DFS. ☑️ Prohibits CDL pre-licensing from being given in any language other than English. ☑️Removes Illegal aliens as covered employees in the Workers’ Compensation statute. ☑️Forces any company that hires illegal aliens to pay out-of-pocket for any injuries. ☑️Requires companies to use E-Verify to submit a Worker’s Compensation claim. ☑️Stops the use of illegal alien IDs to open bank accounts or cashier’s checks. ☑️Forces car insurance companies that insure illegal aliens to fully accept the financial burden of a car accident.
