i am probably someone that most ppl would call a hardo. i would not recommend taking the below advice you are your best in times of zen which means minimizing regret in life, or at least, understanding fully the trade-offs you are making. it can be very mentally damaging to swing PL, or invest blood equity for years into a business/company that doesn't care for you at all, and then have a reverse-cathartic thought of "what was it all for then" you will never get back your athleticism. you will never get back interacting with people at a fairly flat social level (college) work hard, yes. set yourself up, yes. take intentional trade offs, yes. wat is the excuse for never going to a party b/w the age of 18-22 lol. being a man means being evaluated for what you are at a given point in time, and not what your potential is. it is extremely humbling (and fun) to sense-check what that is at each step along the way TLDR doing it fastest is nvr the best

.@naval's advice to @0xSigil: "Before I was 30, I never went to a party. I literally slept underneath my desk. Dude, if you want to win, you gotta be serious." Naval is older than Sigil's dad. Still building. Still full sending. "He told me 'I'm not a billionaire yet' even though he's worth so much. He still wants to create and build things." "It's like Kobe Bryant. 'Job's not done.' You raise your Series F? Job's not done."
the actual answer, btw, is to not put 101% of your time into work but 101% of yourself in the time that you do give to work // don’t let focus bleed personally what i have found most challenging is planning to meet ppls expectations (don’t want to be late! can i make this??)
