Life advice for the day👇 I spent my Saturday going through my phone and it was straight-up humiliating: - 98000+ photos I’ll never look at - 8000+ chats from 2015 that I’ll never read but still can’t delete - A cloud drive drowning in files named “final_final.docx.” It’s not filling a physical room, so I thought they’re harmless. But it ABSOLUTELY takes up space. Just mental space instead. - Every random screenshot is an unresolved thought. - Every old chat is a ghost version of you just sitting there. Reminds me of Jordan Peterson’s book “12 Rules of Life”. Rule 6 is "Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world”. I couldn’t even set my digital house in order. How the hell was I supposed to feel in control of anything else? So I finally forced myself to delete everything I didn't need....
