A transformation is approaching that will make the entire industrial era look small. AI and robotics could automate 57% of current U.S. work hours using today’s technology if organizations redesign their workflows around AI capabilities, according to a major report released by McKinsey Global Institute. Key words here "TODAY's technology/AI". We're not talking here about the 2040s or 2060s. Keep in mind that 57% is based on current level of AI capabilty. When we will have AGI/ASI, it will be 100%. Very likely we’ll choose not to automate every job, like perhaps hairdressers or bartenders, but the vast majority of jobs that are automatable will be automated.
