It's too one-sided to just talk about luck. I use the explanation of luck from "The Almanack of Naval Ravikant" to interpret the several types of luck for everyone: The first type of luck relies on fate, and there's nothing you can do about it. The second type of luck relies on hard work, which ordinary people can achieve. The third type of luck relies on expertise. The fourth type of luck relies on "being yourself" + long-termism: persist in doing what best showcases your talents and what fascinates you the most, gradually establishing your irreplaceability, and good luck will come to you on its own.
