My son just told me that he asked about merit-based scholarships at a local college in Minnesota, paid for by Minnesota taxpayers—not private. They told him they were solely diversity-based and sent him away from student financial services. He told his academic advisor about it, and the advisor instructed financial services to give him the application and links for these merit-based scholarships. When he went to pick up the information, they almost threw it at him, refused to tell him the deadlines, and gave him bad links.
@HarmeetKDhillon @LeoTerrellDOJ I pay outrageous taxes in this state. I'm definitely not rich, and the taxes have put me at nearly poverty level. My son has a 3.9 GPA from a private college, which he has transferred from, and a 3.8 from a private local high school.
Incidentally by white in this case I also mean white, Asian, and anybody who isn’t in the leftist D’s intersectionality matrix.
It’s wrong to make scholarships like this tied to race and it’s wrong to get angry when the wrong race applies as these leftists did.
And some of you might think, “oh Joe I hate this post on X, you are just exaggerating and most D’s won’t do this, just a few.”
But: show me the D politician who is outraged and firing the people who do this?
Basically none. So no, my post is right; you are naive and wrong.
