it’s imperative to not get stuck in bubbles that consume you to the point of meshing with your identity most people, with the onset of ever increasing screen time, crave some sort of community they find this geographically, culturally, in their work, their hobbies, etc. problem is they get *stuck* unknowingly once they feel like they’re in a spot where they belong they become a sort of carbon copy product being spit out on the assembly line of their in-group the goal has always been to maintain your own sense of self and identity, while expanding and expounding on your interests and goals by learning from new experiences and people you can immediately tell when someone is part of some subculture yet has not found the ability or awareness to seamlessly migrate or jump around to another with equal efficacy it has become more important than ever (and rarer than ever) to be a chameleon not tied to any sort of construct or box go be interesting and go be yourself godspeed
