The $NVDA Ampere GPU for data centers came out in May 2020. 5.5 years ago. That GPU installed base is "fully utilized." Bodes well for GPU depreciation schedules being fair. Clearly these assets are still useful based on this.

I see Burry arguing that utilization does not mean profitability and 5-6 year useful life being fair. It’s possible that he’s right. I just wonder whether all of the Ampere users hate money &/or collectively don’t know what they’re doing… or if maybe he’s not right on this one. 🤷‍♂️ Time will tell.
