important to realize that a lot of the AI doom bubble talk you see on the TL is just people who want Trump's economic agenda to fail and are projecting that on to AI (as the main driver of GDP). it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy if they create enough fear.

in fact most economic "analysis" is wishcasting, not projection. most commentators don't have a position. applies to the people that called Bitcoin a bubble for a decade too. they didn't care about Bitcoin buyers they just hated what it stood for.
