Guy on Amtrak waiting to get off in line in front of a family with a newborn: “Will you all want any help with carrying anything to get off the train?” Truly so simple, respectful, and also oddly rare.

We’ve taken Amtrak 20+ times this year and I’ve never hear anyone ask proactively if they’ll need help with something when getting off.
