I want to take a moment to salute @stride_zone, @dropdotmoney, and many others that have braved the interchain but ultimately made the choice to wind down. They are not the first, and they won’t be the last. Building here is challenging, and requires incredible talent, innovation, and ambition. These teams had my full respect. As the world comes on chain and Cosmos adapts, there will be winners and losers, and true winners know when they need to shift strategy. That’s what I’ve always tried to do at Skip and now Cosmos Labs, and I know it’s tough. I remain fully convicted that the current shift in Cosmos is necessary, and that we will have growing pains. What I would say to any blockchain startup right now - Cosmos or not - is find a way to become sustainable. Make money. Trim, become lean, become immortal. Real businesses always beat narratives, and business is just the process of making something and selling it. To everyone fighting the fight… 🫡
