The committee worked for years on answering decisive questions such as "Are standardized biased against certain races?" (they are not,) and "Do they predict student performance in college," (better than any other single metric) and brought forth the strong evidence-based recommendation that the academic senate had tasked them with providing. But it came out in 2020 and so by year's end, all the work was scrapped.
