I'm someone who prides themselves on being able to distinguish between AI and a real video. If there's a human in it, I can tell because AI can't perfectly capture humanity. There's always something off. Even the new stuff is pretty obvious
A lot of these new videos are getting so good that the line is being blurred. It's actually getting scary. I just watched and almost shared a video that I thought was real even after watching it twice. It played a third time, and I noticed someone's head move in a very unnatural way. Then, I noticed someone else in the background with a strange gait and step cadence.
The internet is going to be nearly unusable within a few years. Nothing is going to be real, and most of it will pass. What's real will be buried because the AI videos will seem more compelling.
Too much of a good thing is prevalent everywhere, but in tech, it's tremendously prevalent.
