I have said this before but the point of acc for me has largely been about trying to make accurate descriptive statements, rather than normative ones. do I think technological progress is beautiful? yes. do I feel a fundamental sense of optimism? yes. do I think things in the world are perfect and that everything is working exactly as I would want it to? of course not! there is much left to do

this is why my bio says, "we are accelerating". it's a statement of fact. that is all
