NEW: a reader from north Texas describes the mass invasion of the region by Indians and how it has altered the demographics of numerous towns.
The reader describes his neighborhood as having been 90 percent white only five years ago but is now 75 percent Indian. As he puts it, four years ago, "[s]ome Indian holy person came and blessed our neighborhood and immediately everything changed." Prior to this, his town was described as somewhat rural/exurban, with a highly-rated school system. After the "Indian holy person" incident, real estate turned into a feeding frenzy of "10 or more families bidding for new homes." He describes his son as having begun middle school in a class of roughly 250 people, but due to the sheer influx of Indians, he's now in high school and is in a class of 550 people.
He describes the Indians in his town as refusing to assimilate and too cheap to pay the taxes necessary to expand the school system to accommodate all their children. Indians "vote down every bond measure to hire more teachers or build more classrooms" because [t]hey want the great schools but don’t want to pay for it…like I did for the last 15 years" and adds that they "scam."
A friend of his recently moved from Tennessee to one of the towns in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but had to pull her kids out of the local school because of repeated lice outbreaks due to the poor hygiene of Indian students. She's moving back to Tennessee as a result. He adds that he's had difficulty finding work in his career field due to the Indian influx, stating that he's "applied to hundreds of jobs some I’m even overqualified for, and NOTHING."
