Alright now let's have a $PUMPDROP chat. I didn't forget about you guys. So what happened? To make it simple, we weren't sustainable anymore. The dev wallet kept being drained due to the lack of volume. Some community members were sending $SOL to the dev wallet to keep it alive but it wasn't enough. I've tweaked the code over 6 times in total to make it sustainable so far, but we've reached a point where the only solution was to have a drop every 6-12 hours to keep it self-sustaining. I decided to pause the protocol until I find a solution to that. Regarding $PICKAXE, I capitalized on an ongoing META to cook a project which is completely normal. Any dev would've done that and anybody reading this would've done the same except you would've rugged everybody instead of really dropping the SOL ;). I've airdropped 50,000$ to the trenches in 1 week with $PUMPDROP and $PICKAXE how could you possibly hate on me? Market conditions are not optimal. Holders are jetting. We lack volume. We're in a critical position overall. Now if you expect me to keep feeding the dev wallet to airdrop peanuts and be on a net loss, I won't do that. I work on something that deserves to be worked on or I simply move on. Keep in mind that this whole $PUMPDROP project requires several servers running 24-7, paid RPC calls constantly running to gather holders, eligible for airdrops, lists, build TXs etc. It's ridiculous for a developer to keep spending thousands weekly on a project making 50k volume a day. I'm the first who wants to see a project succeed because in optimal conditions I profit ~10-15% of the creator rewards. But unfortunately it's not always optimal. This is how the market runs. Some traders make money on other traders. Those that profit are grateful and just carry on with their day, those that lose money blame the dev and harass him all day long. You guys need to grow up. I will never rug pull one of my projects you should know that. Deal with your losses. Now regarding $PUMPDROP future, I will probably keep calculating, tweaking and trying to find a sustainable approach, but to be 100% honest the only thing we can do at this point is have drops every 6-12 hours. Even if I do that the website is consuming way too much RPC calls which means I'll have to run it on a weekly net loss. I hope you guys understand the game now. Most devs just run and ignore everybody. I'm not that guy. I wanted to give you a clear overview of the whole situation here. I will keep you updated regarding $PUMPDROP and if I find a better approach in the next 24-48 hours. Thank you.
