If you have faded $Ore because the tokenomics is too complex but you wish to start, here is a breakdown of the various strategies that are employed by users:
The EV Miner
What you do:
- Mine $ORE when it is +EV (when it is profitable to mine over market buying)
- Stop mining during -EV periods and monitor using CLI tools or through sites
How to be an EV miner:
- Calculate the EV of each block and decide when and where to mine
- Use tools like to check for profitability of mining in the current round and mine when it is +EV
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- Since 1 $ORE is produced per round, the profitability is determined by $ORE price and the number of miners. The high $ORE goes, the more profitable it is to mine

The Unclaimed Stacker
What you do:
- Mine $ORE and leave it as unclaimed ore, generating 144% APY from the 10% tax on claims
- Calculate the EV of mining and mine long term to even out your odds of mining during motherlodes and non-motherlodes
How to be an unrefined stacker:
- Calculate the cost of each unrefined and the time required to hold unrefined for the premium to exceed cost
- Use tools like to check your mining history and the average cost of each unrefined ore
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- EV miners or anyone claiming their unrefined will pay a 10% tax to you in the form of refined ore.
- During periods when a motherlode is struck or when price is high, refinement increases, resulting in a burst of yield for you

The Motherlode Hunter
What you do:
- Mine $ORE when motherlode exceeds 100 or more
- Spread out amongst all 25 blocks for a long period to ensure you always get a chance to win the motherlode
- Stop your autominer immediately after motherlode is won
How to be a motherlode hunter:
- Monitor the motherlode status on When it goes above 100, start mining.
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- Every round, 0.2 $ORE is added to the motherlode pool.
- Motherlode has a 1/625 chance of awarding all winners in a block with all the ore in the pool

The Gambler
What you do:
- Mine less than 25 blocks, hoping that you win more rounds than you lose
- Try to stack more on less blocks to win bigger
How to be a gambler
- Treat $ORE mining as a game of roulette and bet on black or red
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- It doesn't, just pray to whatever you believe in that you will win

The Classic Staker
What you do:
- Buy a bag of $ORE and stake on
How to be a staker:
- Buy a bag of $ORE and stake on
- Enjoy juicy APY
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- All mining revenue is used for buybacks and 10% of the buybacks are distributed to stakers
Currently, APY for staking is 20%

The $Ore Holder
What you do:
- Buy $Ore and hold
How to be a $Ore holder:
- Stop fading $Ore and buy a bag right now
How does the tokenomic favor you:
- Mining activity results in buybacks, which pushes the chart up with regular buys
- Supply is always deflating thanks to unrefined holders juicing the APY and stakers
