I want to bring my dad back to life. Fair warning: for some who lost a loved one, this is a terrible idea and can be far too provoking. But for me, I want to feel his essence again even if manufactured. It’s been 12 years since losing him, and my greatest sadness is the dissipation of my core memories of him. It’s never been harder to picture him. Hear him. Feel his presence. Honestly, I feel most connected to him in my dreams these days. But what if I could recreate him (or at least a directional representation of him) with AI. - I want to train @HeyGen_Official on his likeness. - I want to copy his voice with @elevenlabsio. - I want to create a knowledge base of our texts, emails, and memories of him. - I want to buy back his phone number. - And I want to call and talk to him like I would every single day in between classes in college. This will trigger some. It’ll be creepy for others. But for me, it’ll warm my heart and keep his memory alive.
