I see this dynamic play out all the time People on CT have a really strange view of revenue and valuation multiples because they have never actually done a DCF in their life and are only familiar with commodity-style flows based trading. They are used to momentum strategies, since those have worked over the last decade, but they can't rationalize why the price of their "fundamentally" strong project" is going down. The reality is they bought at too high of a multiple, near the end of the hyper-growth phase. Or it launched TGE in extremely heated market Environment and is not fundamentally a decacorn or unicorn.
